It was for the first time after Union
Budget 2005 that the Indian benchmark indices have surged more than 1.7% on the
day of budget. Nifty closed above 8700 mark for the first time since 24th of
October 2016. Nifty closed at 8713
levels while Sensex hit 28000 mark and closed at 28140 gaining 484 points from
the previous close. Broader markets too remained in line and zoomed 1.66%.
Market bias remained highly positive with 1920 advances and 901 declines.
Realty sector pulled the markets up gaining almost 5% with Oberoi Realty, DLF
and HDIL surging 6% plus. Nifty Bank closed above 20000 levels for the first time
since November 10, 2016. Auto and Banking majors viz., Bosch, Maruti Suzuki,
Bank of Baroda, Eicher Motors and ICICI Bank were the top gainers for the
Nifty. Maruti, Hindalco, IndusInd Bank and ITC closed above their respective
52-W highs. Going forward we hold 8737-8745 as the immediate resistances
followed by 8810 as the crucial resistance. On the downside if Nifty retreats
due to profit booking we hold 8670-8600 as the supports for the Nifty.
Today, Nifty
open at 8600.15 to its previous closing at 8584.30 .Nifty will continue its Bullish
movement ahead. On daily chart, nifty
can touch the level of 8750-8900.Whereas, if nifty unable to sustain above 8400
then further selling pressure can be seen. Next support for nifty is lying at
7350. Nifty can be range bound between 8450-8630.

Bank nifty open flat today and sharp
bullish movement seen after budget announcement. Its closed above 20100 after 10 November 2016,
above 20000 level, new level for bank nifty would be 20400-20600 come soon. BANK
OF BARODA and ICICI BANK is the gainers of the day (+4.78%) and (+4.48%) Respectively.
Bank nifty open at 19550.00 to its previous
closing at 19588.45 on Wednesday. Major support of bank nifty seen at 19800-19950.
on daily time frame. Its closed at 20106.10 on Wednesday session. Bank nifty
may be touch the new high at the level of 20400-20600 soon. Above 20100 bullish
trend might be follow by bank nifty, trader
can keep eye on its support & consolidation phase between the 19600-19800.
Below that support short position might be seen.

The Indian rupee gained in the opening trade on
Wednesday. It has opened higher by 22 paise at 67.65 per dollar against
previous close 67.87. The Economic Survey 2016-17 presented in Parliament
projected the economy to grow in the range of 6.75 percent to 7.25 percent in
the next fiscal year 2017-18 post demonetization. Union Finance Minister Arun
Jaitley is going to present his third Budget today.
