The Nifty opened on a flat note on the back of mixed global cues but manage to capitalise on the same. The index then gradually moving upward after taking support at 9180 as the session progressed. In the coming session, it would be crucial for the Nifty to hold the gap area (9250) and strengthen above the previous session’s high of 9225 to open up any positive options. Failure to do so, will lead to continuance of the profit booking trend.

The Nifty has taken a support at trendline which was placed near 9185 zone signalled a strength for uptrend and key overhead hurdle placed around 9250 region. The Nifty has given proper follow up after respected the trendline last week which was placed at 9020 and witnessed a rebound from there. We believe 9250 will remain a crucial overhead hurdle for the index .If Nifty is unable to sustain above 9180 then level on upside is between the 9270-9300. 9180-9170 is the next resistance zone for Nifty future.

The Indian rupee was little changed against the dollar, as greenback purchases by state-run lenders likely on behalf of the central bank and importers offset gains arising from strong local shares. India is implementing the General Anti-Avoidance Rule, or GAAR, from the next financial year that starts Apr. 1. Investors have beenwary of the proposed legislation - first tabled in 2012-13 federal budget - that gives authorities the right to examine and tax transactions if they believe those deals were structured solely to evade tax payments. USDINR is expected to trade with negative bias in today’s session. Resistance is at 65.10 and support is at 64.80 mark.

NIFTY OPENS FLAT AHEAD OF MARCH F&O EXPIRY | TODAY SHARE MARKET NEWS UPDATE 30 MARCH 2017.

SHARE MARKET TIPS   (March expiry likely between 9,100-9,200)

Equity benchmarks started off trade on a flat note Thursday ahead of expiry of March futures & options contracts. However, the broader markets outperformed benchmarks.

The 30-share BSE Sensex was up 39.50 points at 29,570.93 and the 50-share NSE Nifty gained 3.65 points at 9,147.45. About 824 shares advanced against 244 declining shares on the BSE.

SBI, Reliance Industries, Hero Motocorp, Adani Ports, BHEL, Bank of Baroda and IndusInd Bank were early gainers while Axis Bank, Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, M&M, TCS, HCL Tech and Bharti Infratel were losers.

The Indian rupee extended gains today, opening at 64.87 against the US dollar, up 3 paise over 64.90 level in previous session.

Mohan Shenoi of Kotak Mahindra Bank says macro data emanating from US continues to be robust keeping the dollar strength intact. The rupee is resilient on the back of FII flows into bonds and equity, he adds.

He expects the USD-INR to trade in a range of 64.80-65.10/dollar for the day.

The dollar hovered near a one-week high against a basket of currencies, buoyed by a weaker euro which sagged as prospects of the European Central Bank stepping away from monetary easing faded.

Asian shares fell after a mixed start, amid uncertainty over the UK's exit from the European Union, as the dollar strengthened and crude oil prices slipped.

Nifty recently observed some profit booking and the index breached the 8750 levels. There are strong support clusters around the 8,680-8,700 levels which would act as a cushion on the downside. The momentum indicators have shown sign of exhaustion and we recommend reducing aggressive longs. This expiry we expect Nifty to expire between the 8,750-8,800 levels. The index has an immediate resistance area, which indicates that level 8,750-8,800 will be a crucial hurdle to be crossed immediately. It is essential for the Nifty to close above this level for a positive bias and continuation of the uptrend. And any move beyond that may trigger a further upside till 8,950 and 9,000, which is a possibility over the next few months. However, for the uptrend to remain intact, the Nifty should sustain above the level of 8,550 in case of further correction over the next few weeks. The decline in the banking along with metal and auto sector was main reason for the fall in the markets.

Nifty open flat on Tuesday  and  shown range bound  movement over the full market hour’s. Nifty next support would be 8700-8750.Traders can go short on a break below 8600. Range bound movement may be seen in Nifty ,if its maintain the level of 8800 so, up sided movement would be up to 9050-9150.

The Bank Nifty faces immediate resistance around the 19,750 level on the upside and will continue to face selling pressure at higher levels. In  Bank nifty bullish trend seen above the level of 20000-20500. if it’s maintain the level, then new level 20800-20900 will be expected. USDINR

The Indian rupee rose in the early trade on Tuesday. It has opened higher by 7 paise at 66.53 per dollar, which is a 3-week high, against previous close of 66.60. The USD-INR pair continues to rally on the back of strong FII and FDI flows and some spectrum auction related inflows, with overall dollar weakness also helping.
