The Indian stock market plunged for the seventh straight day, with the benchmark breaking key support levels, as uncertainty over economic growth and corporate profits persisted. Investors will keep an eye on the two-day Goods & Services Tax Council meet which begins later in the day. The GST Council will discuss drafts of the model GST, integrated GST and states' compensation bills. Sensex ended with a loss of 263 points at 25,980. Nifty  was down 82 points and closed at 7,979. It opened at 8,044 points, hitting a high of 8,046 and low of 7,965. The week also saw the added pressure of geopolitical uncertainties, amid wafer-thin volumes, as traders hit the snooze button going into the December holiday season and year-end. Nifty50 slid below the crucial 8,000 level for the first time since November 25. The India VIX (Volatility) index was up 5.76% at 15.55. The BSE Midcap closed at 11,809 and Smallcap indices closed at 11,802. The Indian Rupee was trading lower by three paise at 67.93 per dollar.

Nifty open down  on Thursday  and  shown Bearish  trend   over the full trading hour’s.  Nifty closed below the  8100 today. 8000 -8050 is the support of nifty if its break that level down side pressure will be seen. Nifty may be taste the level of 7900-7950. Above 8250 new level of nifty would be 8300-8350.

Bank nifty open Gap down  today and showing Bearish movement, over the full trading hour’s. Bank nifty closed below 18200. below 18200-18000 next level would be 17800-17900. Bank nifty have major support of 17900-18000 on daily time frame. INDUSIND BANK  (-2.34%) and AXIS BANK  (-2.22%) is the top losers of the day.

Bank nifty Open gap down  at 18038.80, to its previous closing 18108.60 on Thursday and touched high of 18064.30.  Today’s  bank nifty made a low of 17873.45. Below 18000 next level for bank nifty would be 17700-17900. Bank nifty can be trade between the range of 18300-18800 .

The Indian rupee continued its recovery on Thursday for the second consecutive session following correction in dollar. It has opened higher by 8 paise at 67.83 per dollar against previous close of 67.91. the rupee to range between 67.50-68.50/dollar over the next two weeks as the market remains quiet towards the end of the year and selling pressure from foreign investors eases. The rupee would come under renewed pressure in the new year based on macro performance in the wake of demonetisation. The dollar index retreated after hitting its highest since December 2002. Meanwhile the Swedish Crown gained 1.4 % against the dollar after Sweden's Central Bank narrowly voted to add to its bond-buying program
