Finally, Sensex ended with a gain of 48 points at
26,643. Nifty closed with a gain of 13 points at 8,192. It opened at
8,196, hit a intra day high of 8,219 and low of 8,149. The benchmark equity
indices closed higher as banks recovered from the previous session's losses on
hopes of a pickup in credit growth following cuts in lending rates. While the
indices fluctuated between gains and losses through the session, the market
breadth remained firmly in favour of the buyers. Sentiments got some support after Union Finance
Minister Arun Jaitley expressed hope that Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be
implemented in 2017 and a digitised economy will be the future of India.
Meanwhile, investors keeping an eye on the GST Council meeting, to arrive at a
consensus on contentious issues, including dual administrative control and
inter-state supply. Some buying is observed in media, banking, metal, FMCG and
financial services sectors while IT and auto stocks are showing weakness. The
mid-cap and smallcap stocks representative indices on the BSE surged by 0.6%
and 1% respectively. The India VIX index
was up 0.8% to 15.96. The rupee was trading down by 8 paise at 68.30 per US
dollar.
Nifty open Flat on Tuesday
and shown bullish trend over
the full trading hour’s. Nifty closed above
the 8150 today. 8000 -7900 is the
support of nifty if its break that level down side pressure will be seen. Above
8150 new level of nifty would be 8230-8350.

Bank nifty open flat today and showing consolidation movement,
over the full trading hour’s. Bank nifty closed above 18000. Above 18000 next
target for bank nifty on chart up to 18300-18500. support for bank nifty would
be in between the level of 17400-17600. It can be the reversal point for bank
nifty. AXIS BANK (+1.68%) and YES BANK (+1.59%) is the top
gainers of the day.
Bank nifty Open Flat at 18050.50, to its previous closing 18034.30
on Tuesday and touched high of 18158.00. Today’s
bank nifty made a low of 17855.50. 17400-17600 is the next support of the bank
nifty. As we expect that bank nifty
should take support at that level. and next level of bank nifty would be
18000-18300.

The Indian rupee gained
in the early trade on Tuesday. It has opened higher by 9 paise at
68.13 per dollar versus previous close 68.22. Most of the overseas markets
were closed on Monday. This provided no respite to USD-INR pair. Demand pushed
up the pair above the 68/dollar mark. The pair is expected to range trade
within 67.90-68.20/dollar today. The dollar index bounced back strongly, up
around 0.60 percent, after falling for the past three straight sessions. The
yen weakened.
