Sensex rebounded over 171 points and the Nifty regained the 8,200-mark in
the opening trade today, reflecting gains in Asia after US Fed minutes
suggested a less hawkish stance from policymakers. The 30-share index was
trading higher by 171.39 points, or 0.64%, at 26,804.52 with all sectoral
indices led by metal, auto, realty and banking stocks in the green. Besides,
the NSE Nifty reclaimed the 8,200-mark by recovering 51 points, or 0.62 %, at
8,241.50. The BSE Mid-cap
Index is trading up 1.08% at 12326, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading down
0.88% at 12481. Some buying activity is observed in Auto, Metal, Bank,
Oil & Gas, Capital Goods, Pharma, while Information Technology,
Telecommunications, Telecom are showing weakness on BSE. Out of 1896 stocks traded on the NSE, 435 declined, 1178
advanced and 283 remained unchanged today. The INDIA VIX is down 4.92% at
15.10.
Nifty open gap up on Thursday
and shown bullish trend over
the full trading hour’s. Nifty closed above
the 8200 today. 8000 -7900 is the
support of nifty if its break that level down side pressure will be seen. Above
8150 new level of nifty would be 8230-8350.

Bank nifty open gap up today and showing bullish movement,
over the full trading hour’s. Bank nifty closed above 18000. Above 18000 next
target for bank nifty on chart up to 18300-18500. support for bank nifty would
be in between the level of 17400-17600. It can be the reversal point for bank
nifty. YES BANK (+4.05%) and INDUSIND BANK (+2.49%) is the top
gainers of the day.
Bank nifty Open gap up at 18050.00,
to its previous closing 17941.85 on Thursday and touched high of 18190.00. Today’s
bank nifty made a low of 1019.10. 17400-17600 is the next support of the bank
nifty. As we expect that bank nifty
should take support at that level. and next level of bank nifty would be
18000-18300.

The Indian rupee
gained in the early trade on Thursday. It has opened higher by 15 paise at
67.90 per dollar versus 68.05 Wednesday. Dollar strength has paused as
market reassess the number of likely Fed rate hikes in 2017. FOMC minutes
indicate that future monetary policy stance will be a function of fiscal policy
stance of Trump Government. Rupee is likely to recover today in line with other
currencies. USD-INR expected trading range for the day 67.70 to 68. The dollar
off a 14-year high against a basket of currencies with investors cautious about
increasing bets on the greenback before getting fresh clues on the US economy
and timing of interest rate rises.
