The Indian stock market ended with smart gains on
Friday as investors sentiments were buoyed by rupee appreciation. U.S. dollar
weakened, while crude oil prices rebounded in Asian trade. Nifty closed
82 points higher at 8,186 points. It opened at 8,120 points, hitting a high of
8,197 and low of 8,115.
Sensex ended
with a gain of 260 points at 26,626. The India VIX (Volatility) index was up
1.19% at 15.46. The BSE Mid cap and Small cap indices gained over 1% each. Out of
1,539 stocks traded on the NSE, 414 declined and 941 advanced today. The rupee was trading up19 paise at 67.90 per US
dollar. On the global front, Asian markets closed mostly in green on Friday,
the last trading day of 2016, despite the modest losses posted overnight on
Wall Street. The Shanghai Composite index was up 0.24% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng
index closed higher by 1%. Nikkei 225 ended lower. In Europe, the FTSE 100 is trading in red. CAC 40 and
DAX are trading down by 0.2% each.
Nifty open Flat on Friday
and shown bullish trend over
the full trading hour’s. Nifty closed above
the 8100 today. 8000 -7900 is the
support of nifty if its break that level down side pressure will be seen. Above
8150 new level of nifty would be 8230-8350.

Bank nifty open flat today and showing bullish movement, over the full trading hour’s. Bank
nifty closed above 18000. Above 18000 next target for bank nifty on chart up to
18300-18500. support for bank nifty would be in between the level of
17400-17600. It can be the reversal point for bank nifty. ICICI BANK (+1.67%)
and AXIS BANK (+1.28%) is the top gainers of the day.
Bank nifty Open Flat at 18060.00, to its previous closing 18072.55
on Friday and touched high of 18285.00. Today’s
bank nifty made a low of 18043.95. 17400-17600 is the next support of the bank
nifty. As we expect that bank nifty
should take support at that level. and next level of bank nifty would be
17800-18000.

The
Indian rupee gained in the early trade on Friday. It has opened higher by 15
paise at 67.95 per dollar versus 68.10 Thursday. Festive fervour is the theme right
now across the world. The dollar index has given up some of the recent gains
and is trading below 103. EM currencies are still under cloud. USD-INR is
expected to trade within 67.80-68.10/dollar range. The US dollar slipped
against the yen and the euro as traders use the quiet holiday period to take
profits on the dollar's recent gains, while a drop in US treasury yields on
waning risk appetite reduced the greenback's appeal
