Indian
markets remained mum for the whole day after a positive start. Nifty and Sensex opened
on a positive note taking positive cues from US and Asian markets, but remained
range bound and finally closed with marginal losses of 0.1% and 0.12%
respectively. Broader markets
specifically Midcap and Smallcap yet again beat the benchmark indices by
closing 0.24% and 0.43% higher. On the global front, Asian markets rose on
Monday tracking strong closure from the main three indices of Wall Street. The
Markets remained buoyed post US jobs data and ahead of policy measures under
the reign of newly elected President Trump. China was moderately higher by 0.5%
led by rise in defence stocks while Hang Seng rose 0.25%. European markets opened lower where investors remained
cautious ahead of fresh data from euro zone and volatile energy stocks.
However, UK’s FTSE 100 remained up with 0.22% gains amid fall in UK pound.
Going forward our view on Nifty remains intact
where we hold 8240-8250 as the immediate resistance followed by the 8300 mark.
While on the downside 8230-8200 will act as immediate support followed by 8100.
Today, Nifty
open with a Flat at 8266.00 to its previous closing at 8267.65 .Nifty continued
its consolidation movement and then settle down with a consolidated movement.
On daily chart, nifty can touch the level of 8350-8400.Whereas, if nifty unable
to sustain above 8150 then further selling pressure can be seen. Next support
for nifty is lying at 7900.Nifty can be range bound between 7900-8200.

Bank nifty open Flat today and followed the range bound movement over the
full trading hour’s Its closed above the
18300, above that level new level for bank nifty would be 18600-18800 come
soon. INDUSIND BANK and YES BANK is the gainers of the day +1.33 and +0.76
Respectively.
Bank
nifty open flat at 18343.00 to its previous closing at 18265.00 on Monday.
Major support of bank nifty seen at 17600 on daily time frame. Its closed above
18300 on Monday session. Bank nifty may be touch the new high at the level of
18600-18800 soon. Above 18200 bullish trend might be follow by bank nifty,
trader can keep eye on its support &
consolidation phase between the 18100-18175. Below that support short position
might be seen. up side target would be 18600 to 18800 with sl of 18100.

The Indian rupee
declined in the early trade on Monday. It has opened lower by 21 paise at 68.17
per dollar versus 67.96 Friday. The rupee will continue to trade sideways but
with a positive bias as optimism in equity market will help it appreciate. The
USD-INR is expected to trade in a range of 67.80-68.20/dollar for the day. The
dollar held steady after mixed US payrolls report. Yields on US 10-year notes
rose from 2.33 percent to 2.42 percent on the data.
