Nifty PSU Bank
index extended its losses and fell by 3% to a one month low even as Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said the RBI is releasing adequate
amount of currency everyday. TCS was the biggest gainer of the day and was up
by 2.23%, while M & M Financial, Bharat Financial Inclusion, Bajaj Finance
were down in the range of 2-6%. Nifty closed at 8,082.40, down 21.95. The India VIX (Volatility) index was down 2.02% at
14.53. The BSE Midcap closed down 1.40% and Smallcap indices a dip of 0.92%.
Non-banking finance companies witnessed a fall. they have taken a hit due to
uncertainty over earnings after demonetisation and as Maharashtra government
said it will set up a probe on violations by microfinance companies in the
state. Public banks have been under
pressure for the past few sessions as some of the measures announced by the RBI
to incentivise digital payments are seen increasing their cost of operations.
Most Asian indices ended down as shares in the
emerging markets declined after the Bank of Japan kept its key policy rates
unchanged. However, rates in Japan rose after the country's central bank
upgraded its outlook for the Japanese economy. The Indian rupee was down as
foreign banks buy dollars, likely for FPI's outflow from domestic markets.
Nifty open flat on Tuesday and
shown Bearish trend over
the full trading hour’s. Nifty closed below
the 8100 today. 8000 -8050 is the
support of nifty if its break that level down side pressure will be seen. Nifty
may be taste the level of 7900-7950. Above 8250 new level of nifty would be
8300-8350.

Bank nifty open Flat today and showing Bearish movement, over the
full trading hour’s. Bank nifty closed below 18200. below 18200-18000 next
level would be 17800-17900. Bank nifty have major support of 17900-18000 on
daily time frame. SBIN BANK (-2.60%) and
YES BANK (-2.77%) is the top losers of
the day.
Bank nifty Open Flat at 18275.05, to its previous closing 18298.95
on Tuesday and touched high of 18313.20. Today’s
bank nifty made a low of 18111.90. Below 18000 next level for bank nifty
would be 17700-17900. Bank nifty can be trade between the range of 18300-18800
.

The
Indian rupee has opened higher on Tuesday at 67.86 per dollar against
previous close of 67.87 a dollar. The dollar index continues to move higher,
currently above 103 level, after the hawkish FOMC meeting and some recent
geopolitical concerns. The USD-INR pair has also slid from recent highs with
continuing portfolio outflows and overall dollar strength. The dollar regained
some momentum, with the dollar index up at 103
compared with levels around 102 yesterday.
