The Sensex, Nifty kick started the December series on
a positive note. Positive global indices, rupee appreciation and also steel
makers extended gains after the government imposed anti-dumping duties on some
imports lifted the Indian stock markets on Friday. Sensex and Nifty reclaimed their psychological 26,300
and 8,100 levels respectively. Nifty closed with a gain of 142 points at 8,107.
The NSE Nifty opened at 8,008 hitting a high of 8,122 and low of 7,977.
Sentiments remained up-beat from the start of the session with Finance Minister Arun Jaitley saying
that the government’s demonetisation move is going to have a positive impact on
the economy, including GDP. The India VIX (Volatility) index was up 2.63% at
17.6125.
The rupee was trading marginally up by 32 paise at 68.41 per US dollar. On the global front, Asian stocks closed higher. The Shanghai Composite index and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index closed higher by 1%. Nikkei 225 ended in green. European stocks were trading mostly in red due to lack of cues from the U.S. Markets. CAC 40 is trading in green, while FTSE 100 and DAX are trading lower.

The Shanghai Composite index and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index closed higher by 1%. Nikkei 225 ended in green. European stocks were trading mostly in red due to lack of cues from the U.S. Markets. CAC 40 is trading in green, while FTSE 100 and DAX are trading lower.
Nifty open Flat on Friday and
shown bullish trend over the full
trading hour’s . nifty have support at 7920-7900 on daily chart. If nifty not
breach that level, next new level for nifty would be 8150-8170. Down side level of nifty may be 7800-7850.

Bank nifty open flat today and
showing bullish movement over the full market hour’s. Bank nifty
on technical chart trade below the level of 19000,
below that level next level for bank nifty would be 18200-18000. Above the
level of 19300 upside movement can be seen. YES BANK (+4.27%) and INDUSIND BANK (+2.77%)
is the top gainers of the day.
Bank nifty Open Flat at 18311.00, to its previous closing 18392.25
on Friday and touched high of 18620. bank nifty trade below the level of 19000, and made a low of 18263.95. if bank
nifty not sustain at that level ,next level of bank nifty would be 18000-18200.On
the other hand above 19300 ,new level for Bank nifty would be 19600-19800.

The rupee today
closed higher by 27 paise at 68.46/47 against the US dollar compared to
previous close of 68.73. The domestic currency also firmed up against the pound
sterling to settle at Rs 85.28/30 per pound at the Inter-bank Foreign Exchange
