The Indian equity market snapped a 3-day losing streak and closed marginally higher on Monday ahead of IIPdata for August.  Nifty closed with a gain of 11 points at 8,709. Markets got some support with NITI Aayog, Vice-Chairman, Arvind Panagariya’s statement that India can become a $10 trillion economy in the next 15 years, from the existing $2 trillion, like China did in last one and a half decade. equity market will now reopen on Thursday i.e. on October 13 and will first react to IIP data and TCS results along with global cues. Result of another IT major, Infosys ltd, is also scheduled on the same day. Today’s major decline was led by the realty, oil & gas, finance, energy, industrial, capital goods and power stocks, while consumer durables, metal, basic materials, consumer discretionary, IT and pharma among the gainer. The India VIX (Volatility) index was down 1.38% to 14.2850.  The broader market ended mixed, the BSE Midcap lost 0.20% while Smallcap index ended up 0.25%. The rupee was trading up by 12 paise at 66.56 per US dollar.Nifty open gap up on Monday  and  shown range bound movement over the full trading hour’s .nifty sustain at its level of 8700. Nifty next support would be 8500-8570.Traders can go short on a break below 8600. Range bound movement may be seen in Nifty ,if its maintain the level of 8800 so, up sided movement would be up to 9050-9150.

Bank nifty open gap up today and showing choppy movement over the full market hour’s.  bank nifty bullish trend would be seen above the level of 20000. If its sustain above 20000 so, next high level may be expected. Before that every high level  may be a opportunity for sell. 19000 is the next support in bank nifty future. BANK OF BARODA (-1.16%) and  SBI  BANK  (-0.81%) is the top losers  of the day.

Bank nifty Open gap up at 19575.45, to its previous closing 19487.45 on Monday and touched high of 19617.40. 19000 is the next support for nifty ,if bank nifty not sustain at that level ,next level of bank nifty would be 18700-18500.On the other hand above 19800 ,new level for Bank nifty would be 20000-20250.

USDINR

The Indian rupee opened higher in the early trade on Monday. It has gained 10 paise at 66.58 per dollar versus 66.68 Friday. US economy data which announced last Friday were negative for dollar. Even dollar is trading weak against its peers. Thus rupee may appreciate for the day.
