Markets witnessed some positive movement in the opening
and closing hours. Nifty was in negative territory in the afternoon session. It
managed to close above crucial level of 8700 at 8738.80, up by 6.7 points or
0.08%. Sensex closed at 28240.22 levels, up by 13.61 points or 0.05%. Both the
indices closed at their four months’ closing high. Broader markets outperformed
the major indices. BSE Mid-cap index closed at 13281.65 levels, up by 76.29
points or 0.58%. BSE Small-cap index closed at 13419.71 levels, up by 141.09
points or 1.1%. Sun TV was the star performer of the day. The stock was top
performer in the bunch of mid-cap sector stocks. It closed at Rs 686 per share,
up by 24.31%. Bombay Stock Exchange, made a remarkable initial run on the NSE.
The first IPO of the year, finally listed at a premium of 35%. The stock also
hit a high of Rs 1200 per share at its first hour of trade, and at this price
it was trading 49% above its issue price of Rs 806 per share. February 3 was a
busy day in the share market, since almost 100 stocks are scheduled to announce
their results for the quarter ended on December 31, 2016. There were 826
advances, 524 declines and 49 unchanged stocks on NSE, reflecting strong
positivity floating in the market.
Today, Nifty
open at 8744.95 to its previous closing at 8754.35 .Nifty will continue its Bullish
movement ahead. On daily chart, nifty
can touch the level of 8750-8900.Whereas, if nifty unable to sustain above 8400
then further selling pressure can be seen. Support for nifty seen on daily time
frame at 8680 ,if nifty not able to retain that level downside level is between
the 8480-8400, 8400 is the next support for nifty.

Bank nifty open flat today and shown
range bound movement over the full trading hour’s. Its closed above 20256.45 ,above 20000 level,
new level for bank nifty would be 20400-20600 come soon. BANK OF BARODA and AXIS
BANK is the gainers of the day (+4.95%)
and (+1.69%) Respectively.
Bank
nifty open at 20073.45 to its previous closing at 20117.05 on Friday. Major
support of bank nifty seen at 19800-19950. on daily time frame. Its closed at
20256.45 on Friday session. Bank nifty may be touch the new high at the level
of 20400-20600 soon. Above 20100 bullish trend might be follow by bank nifty,
trader can keep eye on its support &
consolidation phase between the 19600-19800. Below that support short position
might be seen.

The Indian rupee closed higher for eighth straight
session after the US currency saw higher selling by exporters and banks amid foreign
fund inflows. Traders are cautious ahead of the US jobs data due later on
Friday. The Indian rupee closed higher by six paise at 67.31/$ on Friday. The
rupee touched a high and a low of 67.44 and 67.57 respectively. The Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) reference rate as on February 3, for
the dollar stood at 67.38 while for the Euro it was 72.44. The RBI’s reference
rate for the Yen stood at 59.60; reference rate for the Great Britain Pound
(GBP) stood at 84.32.
