Share indices ended at their highest level in four weeks, buoyed by positive cues from global markets and weak dollar. Most indices in the Asian region also ended higher. Today's rise was also aided by expectation that the ECB will announce a six-month extension to its bond-buying program. Japan's main stock benchmark rose to a new high for 2016 after continued optimism surrounding U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's economic policies helped lift Wall Street shares to a record high overnight. Industry is expectant that the ECB will continue its monthly asset purchases and hope it extends forward to March 2017. The market received the required impetus following the buying ensued by FIIs and DIIs. Buying activity was observed in the market throughout the day, which help the benchmark indices to have a bull run and close on a strong positive note. All sectoral indices on Nifty were trading up with Nifty Auto and Nifty Metal stocks leading the pack. Nifty rose 144 points and closed at 8,246. The India VIX (Volatility) index was down 7.83% at 15.5250. The BSE Midcap closed at 12508.34 and Smallcap indices closed at 12256.25, both indices gained 1.49% and 1.28% respectively.

Nifty open up on Thursday  and  shown Range Bound  trend   over the full trading hour’s.  Nifty closed above the  8250 today. 8130 -8100 is the support of nifty if its break that level down side pressure will be seen. Nifty may be taste the level of 7900-7950. Above 8250 new level of nifty would be 8300-8350.

Bank nifty open up today and showing consolidation movement, over the full trading hour’s. Bank nifty closed above 18550. below 18200-18000 next level would be 17800-17900. Bank nifty have major support of 17900-18000 on daily time frame. YES BANK (+2.30%) and INDUSIND BANK  (+2.06%) is the top gainers of the day.

Bank nifty Open Up at 18377.00, to its previous closing 18261.00 on Thursday and touched high of 18608.00.  Today’s  bank nifty made a low of 18358.25. Below 18000 next level for bank nifty would be 17700-17900. Bank nifty can be trade between the range of 18300-18800 .

The Indian rupee opened higher by 10 paise at 67.53 per dollar on Thursday versus previous close 67.63. US Fed rate hike this month is certain. Market focus is now on pace of future hikes. RBI did not cut policy rates as expected resulting in strengthening of the rupee. The USD-INR is expected to trade in a range of 67.30-67.60/dollar for the day. The euro gained slightly on the dollar as investors focused on today's European Central Bank meeting. The dollar index weakened but is holding above the 100 mark.

Asian markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The Nikkei 225 gained 1.45% and the Hang Seng rose 0.27%. The Shanghai Composite lost 0.21%.
