The market closed lower on Friday due to profit booking, a
weaker rupee and lower crude oil prices. The market saw a secular sell-off in
today’s trading session as all the sectoral indices closed in red and fell the
most since February 11. Sentiment also weighed the fallout of PM Narendra
Modi’s decision to demonetize currency and withdraw high denomination bank
notes.
US bond yields have
surged after Trump's election on worries over his policies stance - from
protectionism and fiscal expansion - to boosting inflation and leading the
Federal Reserve to raise interest rates more than expected. Markets also fear
that the US Federal Reserve could go ahead with a rate hike in December, given
signs of stability in the US share markets. Also, sentiment was impacted by the surprise demonetization of Rs 500
and Rs 1,000 notes. The sectors which saw maximum dampening of sentiment were
real estate, gems & jewellery and consumption segments. Nifty closed with a loss of 229 points at 8,698. The
India VIX (Volatility) index was up 12.34% to 17.3650. Midcap and the Smallcap
index closed in the red. The rupee was trading down 55 paise at 67.17 per US
dollar.
Nifty open flat on Friday and
shown choppy movement over the full trading hour’s .nifty trade again
below the 8500 today .above the level of 8550 bull trend will be seen in nifty
future. Down side targets for nifty would be 7900-8000, if its break the level
of 8380.

Bank nifty open Flat today and
showing range bound movement over the full market hour’s. Bank nifty
on technical chart have support of 19000, below that level next level
for bank nifty would be 18400-18600. Above the level of 19500 upside movement
can be seen. YESBANK (-5.84%) and ICICI BANK
(-5.54%) is the top losers of the
day.
Bank nifty Open flat at 20149.70,
to its previous closing 20261.90 on Friday and touched high of 20332.00. bank
nifty have support of 19000,if bank nifty not sustain at that level ,next level
of bank nifty would be 18700-18500.On the other hand above 19600 ,new level for
Bank nifty would be 20000-20500.

The Indian rupee
slipped in the early trade on Friday. It has opened lower by 52 paise at
67.15 per dollar versus 66.63 Thursday. The rupee today is expected to
further signs of strengthening against basket of currencies as the RBI circular
on S4A will be credit positive for banking. The dollar climbed to over 3 month
high against the yen as investors adjusted to the reality of a Donald Trump
administration and increased inflation expectations.
