The Indian equity market declined for the fourth consecutive
session. A sharp plunge in the rupee against the dollar and exception of strong
foreign capital outflows after hints of rate hike in December by US Federal Reserve Chairwoman,
Janet Yellen dampened the market sentiment. Nifty hit a
6-month low. The domestic market posted its worst week since February 12. Moreover, the prevailing cash crunch following the
government’s demonetization decision has severely impacted select sectors such
as real estate, consumer goods and metal. Besides, a mixed trend on other Asian
bourses also influenced the trading momentum. Prices of few key commodities
have fallen considerably since the move was announced amid drying up of demand.
Also, fears have risen regarding production of the key commodities as farmers
are not getting enough cash to buy seeds for winter crops. Nifty closed with a loss of six points at 8,074. Nifty
opened at 8,097 hitting a high of 8,129 and low of 8,048. The India VIX index
was down 4.83% at 17.8050. Madcap and Small cap indices ended up in the range of
0.2-0.6%. The rupee was trading down 34
paise at 68.15 per US dollar.
Nifty open flat on Friday and
shown Range bound movement over
the full trading hour’s .nifty trade below the level of 8100 today .above the
level of 8550 bull trend will be seen in nifty future. Down side targets for
nifty would be 7900-8000. next support level of nifty would be 7970.

Bank nifty open up today and showing Bearish movement over the
full market hour’s. Bank nifty on technical chart have support of 19000,
below that level next level for bank nifty would be 18400-18600. Above the
level of 19500 upside movement can be seen. HDFC BANK (-1.53%) and ICICI BANK (-1.14%) is the top losers of the day.
Bank nifty Open Up at 19213.25,
to its previous closing 19140.05 on Friday and touched high of 19259.30. bank
nifty have support of 19000,if bank nifty not sustain at that level ,next level
of bank nifty would be 18700-18500.On the other hand above 19600 ,new level for
Bank nifty would be 20000-20500.

The Indian rupee declined in the early
trade on Friday. It has opened lower by 18 paise at 68 per dollar versus
67.82 Thursday. The rupee hit 68 mark/dollar for the first time since June 27,
2016. The dollar index had touched 13.5-year high before retreating. The dollar
climbed to fresh 13.5 year highs versus a basket of major currencies after
Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen finished her appearance before the
congress's joint economic committee. Also helping the dollar was upbeat US
economic data, which stoked expectations of an acceleration in US economic
expansion in the fourth quarter.
