Indian stocks rallied
for the third consecutive day today after the Reserve Bank of
India (RBI) cut
its key lending rate or the repo rate by 25 basis points to
a six-year low of 6.25%, from 6.5% earlier. The RBI Governor, Urjit R. Patel said
in the policy review that global growth has been slowing more than anticipated
through 2016 so far, with weak investment and trade damping aggregate demand.
The NSE Nifty
closed with a gain of 31 points at 8,769. It opened at 8,770, hit an intra-day
high of 8,784 and low of 8,736. Sentiments were on
optimistic note after World Bank stated that India’s GDP growth will remain
strong at 7.6% in 2016 and 7.7% in 2017. The
mid-cap and small-cap stocks’ representative indices on the BSE gained by 0.50%
and 0.66% respectively. The India VIX (Volatility) index
was down 4.01% to 14.9925. Out of 1,406 stocks traded on the NSE, 574 declined
and 777 advanced today. The rupee was
trading up by 5 paise at 66.53 per US dollar.
Nifty open up on Tuesday
and shown range bound movement
before the RBI Policy announcement .Nifty next support
would be 8500-8570.Traders can go
short on a break below 8600. Range bound movement may be seen in Nifty ,if its maintain the
level of 8800 so, up sided movement would be up to 9050-9150.

Bank nifty open up today and showing bullish movement over
the full of the market hour’s. bank nifty bullish trend would be seen above the
level of 20000. If its sustain above 20000 so, next high level may be expected.
Before that every high level may be a
opportunity for sell. 19000 is the next support in bank nifty future. SBI BANK (+1.74%) and YES BANK
(+1.09%) is the top gainers of
the day.
Bank nifty opened up at 19735.10, to its previous closing 19685.35
on Tuesday and touched high of 19850.00. 19000 is the next support for nifty
,if bank nifty not sustain at that level ,next level of bank nifty would be
18700-18500.On the other hand above 19800 ,new level for Bank nifty would be
20000-20250.
USDINR
The Indian rupee opened with marginal gains at
66.55 per dollar on Tuesday versus 66.59 Monday. The 2-day MPC
meeting concludes today, with markets expecting Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to
maintain a status quo. However, a surprise cut can pleasantly surprise the
markets. The USD-INR pair after briefly approaching 67/dollar levels is back to
66.50/dollar. The dollar extended gains against the yen to the longest streak
since August as a report showed US manufacturing expanded in September after unexpectedly
shrinking a month earlier.
